This is the GENUINE NISSAN swirl control valve for Nissan GU Y61 Patrol models with the Zd30 CRD engine from 2007 on.
This valve sits inside the rear section of the inlet manifold. The swirl control valve closes at low engine revolutions to produce a swirl of air to produce cleaner burning in the combustion chamber. The valve opens when engine revolutions increase
